Admissions

Dear Parent,

Thank you for considering Ganeinu International School to meet the educational needs for your child. Choosing a school that supports Jewish values and teachings is one of the most significant decisions your family will ever make. I am confident that you will be pleased with the quality and dedication of our staff, our secular and Jewish studies curriculum, and our outstanding facilities.

Ganeinu is a community school for the entire Jewish community, regardless of background or affiliation. Please read on below for more on the admissions process.

Sincerely,
Dini Freundlich, Principal

Admissions Process

1. Application Forms

Parents are to complete and submit an Application Form for each child. A non-refundable application fee of RMB 1600 must accompany this application for new students.

Before your child enters school, all other admission forms must also be completed and submitted. They can be found by following this link.

2. School Visit

New student who begin school at the beginning of a school year will be invited to take part in an orientation day with other new Ganeinu families.  Students who begin mid-year should arrange a time for a school visit for the parent(s) and child prior to the child's first day of school so as to familiarize the child with his/her new school settings.  One of our staff members will give you a tour of our facility and get to know your individual interests and expectations.

3. Review

This phase occurs after all parts of the application have been received and the student and family visits are completed. Families are kept up to date on the status of each application, especially if teacher recommendations or school records have not been received. For each applicant, the Director meets with the faculty members who observed the student. The completed application is then discussed with the Admissions Committee.

5. Notification

The last phase of the application process is notification and, if the student is accepted, all admission forms must be submitted and the first non-refundable tuition deposit must be made prior to the child's starting date.

If you need assistance in completing the application, or for any other information, please feel free to contact us.
